Bri Buchanan-Valenti:

Bri is a born and raised islander. She received her BS in Sustainable Horticulture from Umass Amherst and gardened across the island for 10 years before making the switch to farming. She loves sprouting broccoli, when bumblebees pollinate anemone flowers, and tedious handcrafts. At Slough she can usually be found in the garden scheming with compost and plants. She lives with her husband, daughter, two cats, and dog in their cozy West Tisbury home.
